One of the best Police cars I've seen

I haven't been on here in a while, I forgot that a police department decided to show off their collection at a drag event where anyone can try their car. It's a Plymouth Fury I with a 383. Cruiser on the right is a new Chevy I guess they are adopting. Ford Interceptors do mid 17's. Police Chargers are high 16's. They ran the Chevy once and did a 15.97.

I did not stay long enough to see if they ran it or not. I doubt it though. I did not know they made special seats for the people that sit in the back. The front was a cloth bench and the back had a very simple vynil bench.

This one has a 383, so it probably wasn't a highway car but I'm sure it still hauls

Sweet car. I like the chrome tips on the pipes. Didn't think a police car would have those.
I would imagine the vynil rear seat would be easier to keep clean. The cloth seats were more comfortable to be sitting for 8 hours a day or more.
