Original Plaid Seats

I have a set of bucket seats that still have the original plaid fabric and white plastic components. Does anyone remember where these seats were originally used in? I'm working on recovering them (not back in plaid) and I want to make sure I find the correct seat backs. They are currently in a 1972 B-Body.

If by plastic com. you mean the seat backs and lift latch covers, the hard seat backs were used in b-bodies from 71-5. and e-bodies from 70-74. on the lower optioned cars only. upscale int. the seats were all mat. no plas. usually the plaid meant very low option car. so if the 72 you have has no options and is very basic, like plain dash , a.m. or no radio, no a/c things like that chances are theyre org. to the car.

Thanks

The car was originally a Satellite Economy but it does have power steering and factory air and the most ugly plaid (green beige and red) fabric with white plastic backs but the dash metal is blue so I don't think these are the original seats

I have plaid cloth in my 74 RR, so it was available, not pretty, but available. Insert vomiting emoticon here!
