plymouth dodge engines

I was wondering My grandfather and I were talking about Engine colors of all of the different makes out there what color where the plymouth motors back then are they the light blue from the factory

Depends on the year. My 68 Plymouth Valiant, 74 AMC J10 and 78 Dodge D200 are all light blue.

'60s pontiacs and some of the seventies were a similar color.

some were light blue, and others years were orange

68 the motors were turq. then 69-71 they were orange, then 72 on they were all the light blue.

some mopar engines were painted red in the sixties like in a 67 belvedere with a 318.

LOL thatd be bad an 11 second slanty buzzsaw, I know the guys running them are getting some serious performance out of them. and still getting 23 to the gallon go figure.
