Retrofit roller lifters

Hello all, wanting to go to a roller lifter on my purple shaft, hydro flat tappet cam, any drawbacks or extra work needed to run, or is it even possible? Have 1.6 steel roller rockers, should I go hydro or solid lifter? Running 100-200 nitrous as well. Havn't bought push rods yet so not a prolem there yet.

theres nothing to worry about putting rollor lifters in, drop in deal, cam hydr or solid both are good if its going to be a track queen then id go solid, if street drivin quite a bit then i would go hyd,

I run a roller cam in my 440 Dart....the cam is made from billet steel...you must use a roller cam with roller lifters...a bronze distributor gear and if a big block a bronze tip fuel pushrod...either hydraulic or solid....hydraulic for street...solid for track and 200 shot....M2C..no roller lifters on purple shaft cams

The cam should be 300.00 and good set of roller lifters 500.00 and a good set of adjustable rockers 500.00...its no cheap but these are what you need...Eric

Thought of something else... I have 1.6 ratio roller rockers, I'm not sure if I have reliefs cut into my piston heads for the kind of valve lift I want on a new cam. Is there a way to look up the head specs without removing it since I can not do it myself and cant contact the original owner anymore? Or should I stick with the purple shaft and hyd flat tappet with the roller rockers so I dont destroy my valves? This is the most confusing part of the freakin motor?!?!?
