The right console 68 B Body (Coronet R/T)

Hey guys, been a while. But I got a question for the guys smarter than me lol. The gentleman I bought my car from has a couple different consoles I've been lookin at buying from him. The one he says is a 4 speed has a pad over the glove box... I have not seen this before (of course I'm not old enough to have spent much time around too many of these cars and it looks shorter than the auto one. The 4 speed one is pictured below...

and here is the automatic one

The ones I'm used to seeing automatic and 4 speed both look more like the bottom picture only difference between the two i know of would be the auto or 4 speed plate. But is the top one correct as well? And if it is how would I tell which style my car came with originally?

Thanks guys.

He's wanting $500 for the 4 speed one. Comes as it sits. Good deal? Or pass?

Here is a better picture of what I'm used to seeing.. Was this the only style of console for the 68 b body or is the one above (with the pad) correct?

Found this picture on google.. looks like a 69 or 70 charger console judging by the wood grain. If this is all correct in this photo then the one above with the pad has been cut off. Any advice would help thanks guys.

The 1st with pad is 66-67 Charger, the back of it connects into the rear console, too cool one of my favourite interiors, real class.

The 2nd is 68-70 Coronet/Charger.

The last picture is the 2nd someone has added the pad to it.

If you search Images of 66 then 67 then 68 Charger console you'll see the transition.

The before '68 Coronet consoles are different again.

500 bucks without chrome is tough, with chrome and door jump on it.

Hey man thanks a bunch. I'll probably be passing on it Unless I can get him to take that top one apart and put everything on the second one... then just find me a door later. But probably a slim chance. And yes the 66-67 charger had very awesome interior.
