Soda Blast - Then what !

I am soon to have my 65 Satellite Soda'd..... because it leaves a film on the car for a few months or so..... what do you do when you want to start the body work or welding etc and to do that you would need to clean the soda residue off the car in that area and then you will have metal that will become susceptible to rusting ? Prime the area you are working on if stuff starts flying around dust etc will it affect the areas of the car that have blast residue on them ?

thanks

Clean it right away and get it in EPOXY primer.

Eastwood sells a product called Metal Wash. It removes any grease, oil, or other residue and leaves behind rust inhibitors. Check it out: http://www.eastwood.com/metal-wash-7-oz.html
