Time Machine
Hi everyone I was thinking about all the cars I would like to own and wishing I had a time machine to go back and buy them when new.
If you could go back as many times as you want to of each year with the with the date on it (new bills wouldnt work) from that year what cars would you buy.
The color combo, motor and trans any details you want in a car. What would it be?
Oh man where do I start............................

My choice would probably be a Superbird or Daytoa Charger. That wing on it would make all these ricers puke when they saw it. Hemi of course, goes without saying.

Id go to the corner of grand and spalding, talk to a fairly young then mr. norm. and order a new a-12 bee 4spd in butterscotch, coupe, not hardtop, with a white tail stripe, then the next day go back again and order a road runner a-12 in butterscotch, 4spd, coupe with a double black side tape stripe. this one with a-4 silver int. think about it not only will they be ordered cars, but theyll be 1 of cars as well. remember were taking advatage of a time travel thing. id never sell them though, My kids would get them when im gone.

I'd just like to have some of the ones I did own back. Mostly my 68 Coronet R/T that I sold to a friend who got PO at his wife and ran it into a tree in his back yard over and over again untill it was a pile of junk. Taught her, eh?

lol , I know toad, woman tend to make us do strange things. I knew of a guy had a super bird, years ago. was working on it 1 day, the wife comes out into the garage gives him a hard time about something, then goes back into the house, he gets mad slams the hood down jumps in and takes off like hell. however, he forgot to put the hood pins back in place, (UH-OHHH) yep, bout a mile down the road at 50 plus woof, hood comes up trashes hinges, hood, irreplaceable hood at that time i need to add. and got into the fenders. also a hard to find item. I neededa new hood for my super bird when I redid it, cost me 1500 to replace mine, and this was several years ago as well.1 thing I have learned , when your having a baad day and arent thinking straight, and the misses are involved. stay stay the HELL away from the garage.

I can! The wife will go all day without talking to me, but once I'm in the garage working, shes in there every 5 minutes asking about something pointless or inane. It now sports an extra lock. My fortress of solitude has become complete!

I think if I could go back in time I'd be happy with just one car: 1971 Dodge Demon 340 with a 3.91 suregrip and a 4 speed. It would have to be bright red or B5 blue with a standard hardtop but hood stripes and side stripes. Preferably black interior with front bench.
If I could get another car it would be a 1973 Challenger 340 Rallye with a 4 speed and 3.55 suregrip. It would be top banna with rallye stripes and deck lid spoiler and black interior. Only reason I want that car is because I almost bought one when I was 15 but my dad said no.
There are others I wouldn't mind having as well but for right now I'd be happy with just 1

If I could go back in time and buy any car I wanted... I'd go back to 1968 and get one of the original Super Stock Barracudas... Hemi and automatic.... Body in white and the headers in the trunk.... Primer hood and the rear fenders "cut" for slicks....... Then I would have two of the factory hot rods.....

i would buy up all the 71 cuda hemi convertibles and then i would keep one and sell the other 6 at auction for millions and buy a nice house with huge garage...then go back and get a 69 charger 500, AAR cuda, 70 super bee (winged warrior), 71 challenger convertible rt, and maybe a vette and a gto judge just for fun

That ain't a bad idea...Next time I'm visiting the family down in in AZ you can meet the old man and do it for me of course that would probably decrease my chances of getting a Mopar even more
