What happened to member "440 roadrunner"?
Well,
that pretty much sums it up. I've read so many great and informative, well written posts from that guy... Noticed he hasn't been active since 2014. Any idea who he was or where he went?

Anybody?
Has anybody read any of 440Roadrunner's posts?
It's funny to think that a member of a specific forum (mopar) could offer thousands of posts and remain completely anonymous.
Crazy world we live in.
I would have thought there were many PM's w/ him from some of the members.
He definitely wasn't afraid to shut folks down though if their repair suggestions didn't align w/ his. Perhaps he pissed a bunch of guys off and it was like, good riddance?
Maybe he passed away?
Maybe no one sticks with this forum for too long?
As I've been trouble-shooting an electrical problem on my '68 Fury, I've stumbled across a LOT of posts from that guy offering clear, easy to follow methods of how to diagnose, repair and great explanations of how the whole system works on the whole. I appreciate his thorough explanations. He would often times explain the issue from A to Z which was super helpful for me as other threads often times have 50 guys chiming in with 1/50th of the solution.
If he's moved on to another forum I'd like to know.
This will be the last post regarding this guy from me.

Thanks for the heads-up.
Like I said, maybe he pissed enough people off setting them straight and got sort of black-balled. Seemed like he often started his posts with something like, "ABSOLUTELY INCORRECT!!!"
Ha!
But, I really appreciated his "long-winded" posts. You know what I mean- when you're looking for answers and trying to wade your way through 10000 threads to get to the answer it can be frustrating. He would start his responses saying, "here's how this works..." Very helpful. Should be the standard. Hopefully he's still around offering up great info. for free as is the way of the forums. Such great resources for folks with no real-life support.

Yes. A major asset.
Let me know if you stumble across him. I've looked over at the MoParts forum but didn't have any luck. Although you may be right- I couldn't figure out how to do a member search and I'm not a member. He may be around.
I will do the same if I find him elsewhere.
You know, mainly, just wanted to thank him for his help.
We need more guys like that to help keep our old cars going!!

I can see that!!
And, Bob, thanks again for stepping in here.
I thought originally I'd see more activity regarding this post but it has been a WHILE since 440 roadrunner was active and I'm getting the feeling that he is no longer with us.
At lease he left us with a lot of good info. scattered over the forum archives.
If anyone's looking for help in diagnosing and fixing an electrical issue, mainly ignition and charging system issues I advise searching for threads where 440 roadrunner responded. A wealth of good honest info.
