What is the number stamped on the core support?

I was on a website this week and was reading that the number stamped on the radiator core support can be decoded and is called the "SO#"?.

I didn't save the page but today I looked at my 67 Charger and found the follwing number: 7282108146 stamped on the top of the core support.

anyone know how to decode and what the purpose is? Thank you in advance.

Answer to my posted question

I just received the answer to my question posted yesterday by Jon at the Charger Registry. He states the following:

Great to hear from you. The number on the core support is:

7 - 1967 (like in the VIN)

2 - Hamtramck build plant (like in the VIN)
B - Scheduled build in 11th month
21 - Scheduled build in 21st day
08 - Gate Number

146 - I believe this is car 146 or 147 through this build gate on this day.

Congrats on your purchase. I have this car owned by a Steve in Bonita Springs, FL in 2004 with about 66k miles. Great color combination and the 4 speed is too cool.
