What would have done if you were a lead designer during 60's and '70s at chrysler?

Hey guys I'm having a late night crazy thinking moment lol but thought I would see what you guys would have done if you were a lead designer for chrysler during the 60's and 70's. I was thinking about that and I thought it would be cool if they took 2 of the best E bodies and conjoined them to make a chacuda lol a 70 R/T challenger mixed with a 71 cuda. I think it would be cool if they took a 1970 R/t challenger and pulled the grill out and used the grill from the 71 cuda and put the gills in the fenders also. So now you basically have a 70 challenger with a 71 cuda grill and gills. Kept the R/T hood and put a T/A spoiler on it. And then went with the cuda paint schemes. I think that would be one bad a$$ car. I love both cars pretty much equally but their are key things that make each of them really stand out from the rest, the tail panel on the 70 challenger is amazing to me and the grill and grills on the 71 cuda are very cool. I think the the R/T hood is very cool (personally like it more than any of the others including the cuda rally hood) and the Cudas had the best paint schemes of course.

lol I might actually build one, I'm plannin on lookin for a 70 challenger as soon as I get a motor built and put in my 73 chally, so I might actually try that. Any reason as to why you think it wouldn't work? other than people going hey look a cuda! as i pass.......... umm wait isnt that a challenger? lol

What would you have done?

well i would of used the name dart on our 2 door ve , VF , VG . centralized the engine in the engine bay . & brought out factory std big blocks in Australia . more max wedge port heads , & maybe cross bolted mains & 1/2 " oil pick ups . & look at the use of alloy in the block , heads , inlet manifold & water pump housing ??? .
although i think Chrysler were at the fore front of innovations for its time . they did quite well .
ps they could of Incorporated sharks teeth into there grills & made a mako shark model :-)

More rust proofing around B-body back windows and inside trunks. Also wider standard tire sizes on the big cars. Either way they did amazing.

Maybe NOT make the tops of A body fenders rust out in 2 years! Really? Rust out before the bottom?

I agree with mopardrt the A bodies could have been some really cool cars had they tried a little harder on them. And put big blocks, some different hood options and big blocks. And double headlights
