What's up?
Hows everyone been doing lately? I haven't been on much. Drove across the country (Atlanta to Seattle) in August. Started working the new Porsche job a week after I got back. Every week has been 45-50 hours.
Too bad the money goes as fast as it comes. Thats life for you though. Im buying a condo with a garage within a few months.
Probably going to get a 2nd job to work nights and weekends to supplement more money and help pay bills.
Busy busy.
Had a fire in the Dart in June that destroyed my wiring harness, and engine compartment paint. Wiring is all fixed. Motor and trans are coming out next weekend so I can have the engine compartment fixed. Headers will be getting receramic coated.
Hows everyone elses projects coming along? Hows the house going Tim?

I'll chime in. My Coronet is still in the corner, been working on my son's 72 Demon and getting heat in our garage. This weekend we brought my other son's 88 Mustang into the garage for me to back-half. So my boys are getting along, we're all working on cars and I get to cut up my first Ford, so life is good.

No it was not set by the Amp gauge. The fuel line loosened up on the carb and sprayed fuel all over the headers and alternator sparking the fire.
2nd time I've had a fuel fire in the car damaging wiring.
Don't bypass the gauge. Fix it correctly.

The entire engine compartment needs to be painted, the wiring under the hood and under the dash got destroyed (been replaced with brand new). Headers need to be ceramic coated again, my transmission blanket burned right up.
The back of my carpet even has some burn marks... got real close to burning down. The hood paint is destroyed. Luckily my blue GTS hood wasn't on...
And luckily we were able to get it running again within an hour.
Guess it always could've been worst..
