Where Can I Find....
A Differential Gasket Cover for my 1974 Duster?
The one I have is cracked. I checked Checkers and Napa and they don't have them. My Gasket has 9 bolts, the ones they do have are 10 and 12.
Thanks.

Mr. Gasket has most of them, and I'm sure so do several others, but you're going to have to ID your rear end / differential a little better - see the attached pic.

The 7 1/4" might be a little tricky. Best bet would be to call Summit or JEGS and ask. They are pretty good at helping with stuff like that.
Other options would be YEARONE INC or making your own from gasket material.
Just for the record, you're using a 7 1/4" rear on a (assumed worked) 360? That might be problematic as well, sorry wish I could help.

Right now it's just the S6, I'm trying to fix her up as much as I can before I actually drop the 360 in her.
But thanks for the help, much appreciated!

you can also buy blank gasket material to make your own.. ive used card board from like a coke or pepsi case witch works fine with rtv just a skim coat. lay the carb board across what you want to gasket the softly hammer around the edege with a smooth faced hammer and it will cut the material as you tap around the edges,

I actually found one! There's a muscle car garage just down the street from where I live. I gave them a call and they found one for me. But since it is a special order they're gonna charge me 50 for it, plus 20 for shipping.
But thanks a lot guys!

Couldnt agree more with Scott and Sportfury.
They give you the cover too? Seventy bucks for a gasket...must be made out of gold or titanium or something good.
Hey Scott we should open up a "Hard To Find Gasket Shop"!

Yes, clear as mud. You needed a "differential cover for your GASKET"! No wonder I drink. Ha ha! Glad it worked out anyways. Do you need some chrome valve gasket covers too? Hehe!

Well if you happen to have to do it again try Oreilly's they can special order things for you alot cheaper, or try advance or pep boys. Oh EBAY is never a bad place to shop when you need something... Only problem with ebay is you have to wait for it lol.
