Would you buy this?

Just want to get feedback on an ad I have running, anything in there that screams don't buy me? or keep looking? Not got alot of experiance selling cars, and don't want to scare people away.

Only had a smaller ad out on Kijiji for a few days and had 3 uys come in from, Calgary, Fort Mac and Drayton vally all 3+ hours drive away to see the car but no offers yet!

Here's the ad:

*****

1964 Plymouth Sport Fury 6.3L 383 Big Block, 4 Barrel Edlebrock carb, A-727 Torqueflite auto Trans, console shift. Black on black, bucket seats. Factory 413 Street Wedge car.

New parts include. New wiring harness (painless), new alt, new heater core, new rear drums, shoes, callipers, bearings and seals. New front shoes, bearings seals and bushings. Recent tranny service, new tranny cooler, lines and B&M pan. Aftermarket Tach, oil, water, fuel, volt gauges. To name a few!

Comes with (but not installed) New water pump, alt, electronic distributor (mopar). Misc switches. Spare instrument cluster, center console, and shifter. To name a few.

A steal at $14000 (will consider all offers) Need to sell this summer, getting married etc!
Similar cars sell for $20000+. Fully restored they can fetch $50000 to $60000. This one has a little rust around the rear wheel arches, but overall and excellent car.

*******

As for other cars in the area, the only other 64' sport fury is listed in Canada is up for $26,000, and in the US they range from $10,000 to $30,000 for non numbers matching, With factory 413 and 426 cars going up to $65,000.

no one wants to spend upwards of 10 grand then have body work to do, you can get old restos that are 15 grand and not have to touch the car for 6 or more years 14 grand is where your getting stopped you will always loose on a car and right now with the economy the only way your going to sell a 10 grand plus car fast is if its a E or B body try playing with the price

The rust stuff always scares me. Body work is something I have to pay to get done, and it is always several grand. The mechanical stuff is something I can do some or most of. However, if the rust is there and you do not say anything about it, those guys making a 6 hour round trip would probably be upset. You could always say to "make an offer". That way you will have an idea what they will pay an you can always say no.

Yeah, think of how mad I was when I went up to see the Roadrunner, told me is was almost rust free. I had no way to get under the car or in the trunk, when I brought it home (2 hour drive up and back), jacked it up and unbolted the trunk I was a bit peeved.
