I was out yesterday, and found a 66 fury, 2dr HT, 318 (not running, said it turns but wont start). Has a few rust issues, needs one front fender, but is really fairly straight. Talked to the fellow, said hed give it too me for 75$

But when it came down to it, he didnt have a title. Said he got it from a retired cop, who got it from another cop....... I hate no title cars as they are worthless when you try to get a title here in Washington state. You have to file for lost title, they send out a certified letter to the last known owner, if it isnt signed and returned withing 15 days, you get a temporary registration, wait 3 years and then have to have it State Patrol inspected, provided all these things work out as planned the car is yours, title and all. And where Im from here in Washington, it takes up to a year to get your inspection......

Torn between getting it and just watching it pass by......Its a hard one to pass up for the price.....


Anyone from Washington know any better way to get the titles ? Ive had nothing but problems with lost title cars here....

I'm in Wa. too, It just boils down to how bad you want it, But for 75 bucks you can't really go wrong. could be a pretty cool retro cruiser.

Went to go get it today, and the guy sold it this morning for 100 Bucks.....

Should have jumped on it, oh well, but its a bummer, thought if I decided I didnt want it, Ide dump it to one of you all at my cost. There'll be more there ALWAYS is.
