74 Charger Bumper
Guys -
OK, I know this is a real long shot, but I'm looking for a 1973/74 rear bumper + brackets, or the entire rear bumper assembly (light housings etc). Must be in decent shape, meaning it doesn't desperately need to be resurfaced and rechromed. And please remember, I'm basically cheap. (There's a guy on eBay with a rechromed one for about $570 shipped, and that's a little of out my price range.)
Thanks,
Archer

Ownership isn't in question anymore, I have the title now but they won't let me in to do anything. I'm waiting on a few phone calls. If I have to I'll go in there and get it anyway, it's my $%^@. I've never taken apart a bumper assembly, so I'll look into how to do it as quick as possible and I can get it.

If the car has rear bumperettes (bumper guards), unbolt them from the frame, one bolt on each. (You can leave then on the bumper.) Then from the trunk, there will be 4 nuts is a square pattern on each side of the back wall. Remove those. There should be a single wiring hardness that needs to be disconnected. After that you just have to convince the bumper to pull out in ONE PIECE. The light assemblies and mounting brackets should come out intact with it. Don't drop it, LOL

Take out the back seat (the upper part) and crawl into the trunk. You can manually operate the latch from there. Don't ask how I know that, it's not like I ever locked my keys in the trunk or anything ...

Hate to bring this to the top, but still lookin'
I'll take an entire bracket to lens assembly, if it's in GOOD condition, but the most critical parts are the brackets, the bumper itself and the PASSENGER side light housing. 73's and 74's are the same, SE or not, is fine.
Any suggestions appreciated.
