Did bumper fillers come on the front of a '72 Challenger? I didn't think they did but there are holes in the grill that match up with an old filler that I have. If so, how were they attached? Screws, rivets???

Okay, here is the story. I talked to the owner about the front bumper situation last night. He obtained some parts from a '74 challenger for this build. He thinks the grill in the car right now is from the '74. I tried mounting the front bumper and after seeing how far it stuck out, I believe the bumper support arms are from the '74 as well. He gave me another set of bumper arms that he thought were from the '72 so I put them on and they stuck out a lot less so I do believe these are the correct arms for this car. I still have a question though. There is a steel bumper support that goes behind the bumper but I can tell that it goes with the '74 arms and the holes in it do not exactly match up to the holes in the '72 bumper arms. Did the '72 have this steel support behind the bumper? Or does the bumper just mount right to the arms?

I found the '72 bumper arms. It looks very nice with the front bumper attached! I had the same issue on the rear and also found the correct bumper arms for the rear as well.
