I suppose I should have asked this before I made the transaction but....
I purchased a front bumper from Tamraz's for my 69 B body. It is actually an AMD bumper. Both companies are reputable so I did not expect difficulties. So far they have sent two bumpers and I am not too impressed.
The bend near the top of the bumper is too sharp and is more like a crease instead of a smooth bend. In the sharp part of the crease the chrome is not finished very well. Has anyone purchased a bumper from AMD and had the same problem. AMD says there is no defect but my original bumper was not like this.

 

I'm pretty sure the stamping machines for these car parts are very worn out by now.. The reproduction stampings are far from just good. Some times its just better to refinish your old stuff.

I believe amd made new dies

 

I thought AMD did make new dies too. These bumpers were not even close to show quality and at best, the bottom end of driver quality. I have decided to keep the first one delivered and use it until I can get my original restored. I will say that Tamraz's has been understanding but can only work with what AMD supplies them. I would have to look real hard at a AMD fender before buying one.
