mopar 360 for sale in Chicago, IL
guys I have a 360 with almost no miles on it for sale. Here is the history that I remember, I may have a folder with paperwork somewhere that would go with.
I built this 360 in 99. It was an older 360 block that I had machined .30 over by a local shop. The internals are from PAW, I don't remember all the details except that it had hypereutectic pistons. The heads are cast iron. It has a hughes engines camshaft. It has a holley double pumper and an aluminum intake(I don't remember which brand). The engine was put in a 71 duster that was originally a slant 6. Unfortunately the cam didn't break in properly and it flattened a lobe, this was most likely due to a friend pumping up one of the lifters, "for fun", before the engine was started. Not long after this, the engine was pulled and the car sold. This motor needs a good cleaning, it's tolerances double checked and a new cam and lifters. I would also double check the balance as I had PAW do the balancing as an extra but they never really made it clear what they did. I don't have the money, time or a car to put it in so I have decided to sell it. It has had one of it's heads off and the cylinders have light surface rust, a dingle ball should clean it up with very little work. I am asking $1200 for everything, carb to pan + I have a dual electric fan and engine stand to go with. I am open to offers as well but I don't need to rush to get rid of it so don't bother low balling. I would prefer local pickup. I will take some pictures of everything as soon as I can and post them up. If you have a serious interest in the motor please email me at nubz69@hotmail.com. If you have questions, post them here and I will check back periodically.
