Hey Sport, I was actually wanting to build one, but I have a 400, any idea on the cost?

 

if you go thru www.440source.com it will be $2000 for the crank,rods,pistions,rings,bearings, & balancing, their price went up $100 few choices on cubic inch and good choices of comp, ratio.

i never used them, a friend and i built a 528 from muscle motors it still together, bit more pricey tho, i wanna build the 512 from 440source when the $ situation gets better,

 

Well I came into that Charger, so I can probably scrape up just enough from that to do it. I'm thinking there's atleast a grand or so there to do whatever.

 

How much do you think a 440 Build from a 400 would be? Never really looked into building, but I'm going to MTTI this year for college, so I have access to a full garage

 

I'm looking for one that is complete or a short block
