I cannot imagine what it must be like "over there" trying to find trinkets and trim for older cars. Looks nice

Hi guys
Good to hear that you like my car, Yes it's been tuff to find and buy parts. This car is sold new in Sweden, and at that time we had some hard restrictions on "dangerous parts" on front of the cars. So,before it was sold, they removed the hood-orament(welded the holes and painted it),Removed the fender-turnsignal-indicators and replaced them with some flat ones, and then changed the wheelcaps with the "dangerous" spinners to Belvedere-type. Fortunately all this parts had been found and remounted when I bougt the car in 1999.
Today it's bad buisnes to buy bigger parts because of the high oversea shipping charges. I got an quote from Y1 on a gas-tank,(for my next project) and found that shipping, tax and custom fees together ended up to twice the price as the tank itself ! Luckily a friend of mine fixed one and put it in a container with project cars to Sweden. So you see we have some bad odds here on the other side of the ocean.........
Take care !

Nice Satellite, looks exactly like mine before the tree fell on it. She was my Great Grandmothers who passed it on to me back in the '90's.

See the video here.

Please excuse some language, the audio was taken from a podcast I do on iTunes.

Also on my website if interested.

That picture hurts my Mopar-heart,What a waste of good iron !
Think I must remember checkin' out of big trees when parking.....
Was it scraped or parted out?

I ended up selling to a guy who said he could fix it but I was very doubtfull. Hard to reconstruct a tweaked unibody. He ended up moving and I lost track of him.
