1967 primer black, Dodge Coronet 500 440.

It's in primer because it's not yet finished.
I have working on this beast since 10/2014.
The project is named " The Yankee Express' and it began so innocently....I bought the car from a CL ad about 20 minutes after the lady put it up. It was an unmolested survivor 500 with tinted glass and A/C, PS,PB, crème yellow in color with a black interior , bucket/buddy, auto column, and a 318. 100% complete car.
I have been doing metal fabrication off and on since then.
It's now about ready to go into bodywork/filler smoothing the huge panels and gaps out. The list of mods to the car are:
1967 Charger headlights and grille, front bumper ends sweep back even with the body and the turn signal holes shaved, both fender noses swept back to 90**, the hood sectioned and the first 8 inches fastened to the car, the remainder flips open to the front on gas lifts, a low cowl center section added, inner fenders cleaned up with close out panels, smoothed firewall, firewall upper lip built out and squared off, 2006 Audi A6 Quattro Allroad dash and console including heat/A/C and Symphony sound system and steering wheel, leather 10 way heated power bucket seats, floor pans repaired, roadster type panels behind seats closing out the rear area, tubbed rear wheel wells, springs relocated to the frame, trunk floor spare tire well removed and flat floor installed, gas filler door shaved and moved to the top of the left quarter next to the trunk lid, 16 gallon tank in the trunk over the rear axles, trunk lid on gas lifts, the entire rear face of the car fabricated to receive 1966 Thunderbird tail lights, a 1970 Road Runner rear bumper that has been stretched 2 7/8ths" and hung on custom brackets, the xhaust will exit through the back up light holes. A 440 wedge motor with 346 heads, an M1 single plane intake, Lunati cam/lifters, 3/8ths" push rods, upper valve train yet to be determined, Speed Pro flat top Hypereutretic pistons, a bunch of chrome stuff and other assorted goodies. Will be painted Midnight Blue Single Stage urethane, and Urethane Super Clear with some white stripes here and there. Has Welds on the front 5" x 15 with M/T Et Streets, 10x15 Centerlines on the rear with 11.50x 15 M/T Et Streets. 8 3/4 rear, disc conversion up front, drum rear. 727 auto.

Wow. That already was a lot of work. I´m curious how it will look like when finished.
