1969 plymouth valiant 100

names joe, im new to the forum. just had some questions i may find the answer here. i have a 69 valiant i am restoring. it runs and drives perfectly but as soon as the engine gets to normal temp, the engine will just shut down. i have the slant six 1bbl carb, 225 ci engine. i was thinking ignition coil but i could be wrong ang before i go replacing it i wanted a second opinion. thanks!

i would guess something with the carb. has it ever been rebuilt?

Ignition module getting warm and shutting down? There are other's here that are much more knowledgeable than I on this though.
