1972 Dodge Polara 400
New to the forum, new to the Mopar community
Always liked the specific look of the '72 model, and big fan of big fat 4-door sedans, figured I'd give a shot at owning one and see how things are going. I'm originally a crown vic guy. I really enjoy the driving and the comfort so far. Lots of fun to ride.
No pictures of the engine (yet) as it is dirty. Lots of nick-nacks have to be fixed here and there, (A/C, heater, blinkers, mirrors, few leaks etc.. and later on a good body work) as I plan on using it as a daily driver.
Below are some pics of the car as-is, enjoy!

Welcome to the forum!
That era of Dodge C-body is called a 'Fuselage' body or 'Fusey'. I also drive a C-body 'slab side' which is the term for a mid '60s Mopar C-body. I also belong to a C-body forum and these are some of the things that I have learned! Enjoy your '72! Way better than a Crown Vic! Rick

The 72 Polara was and is my favorite big Dodge, I had one in the late 70s. I always thought they were the toughest looking police cars . Hey check out the movie Dirty Mary Crazy Larry its loaded with 72 Polara squad cars.

Mostly cosmetic work and so on, I already fixed 98% of the mechanical issues.
By daily driver, I'm not looking at high performance, but comfort instead. For instance, the heater is stuck on, the A/C does not run (kind of a miracle to find one that works) and I want better speakers to enjoy some tunes.
The engine is a 400, I do wish it was a 440 Magnum though haha!
Thanks everyone for the welcome

I had a 67/68 Town & Country S wagon with a 440 Now it came with a Holly 4bbl which I threw in the trash and put an AVS carb on it. On one of my trips I actually got 13.8 MPG LA to San Francisco on Vacation when my daughter was 3. She's 35 now.
