hmmm...the problem with the chrome rims..
when i bought the car, it had the wheels that you see on the back of the car, all around. they were VERY rusty, and the ones on there had hours and hours of polishing with naval jelly to clean them up, and now theyre nice 10 foot wheels. the front wheels arent bad, but i just dont care for the design, and worst of all, i hate that the front and back dont match.
another reason that im going with those black cragars is that there are SUPER inexpensive. i want new (matching) wheels, and since ive not found anything that im "in love" with, so rather than spend big money on wheels that i might not like, im buying the cheapest wheels that summit sells...so when i see a wheel that i think "that will be perfect on the demon", i havent already spent a bunch of money on other wheels, that arent perfect.
also, i want the car to look sort of "retro racer"...i have a diecast of a 68 roadrunner "shine car", with flat black accents and black wheels...although the car is grey, i think that the demon would make a cool shine runner car..very little chrome (no body chrome), no stripes, no engine badges (right now) and i will eventually have glass bumpers...
and at some point, id like to get something like weld prostars, but its still a budget build.

i know i wasnt the one you asked, but i've melted one on my dart, my brother in law melted one on his ride and a buddy in school actually set one on fire.

honestly, i hate it, and i intend to change it soon. i actually have a normal K&N air cleaner that i use on longer trips and such, but the top isnt very nice looking, so i put this thing on when im sitting around with the hood open. i dont like how it looks either, but its new and looks better than the other filter. i think that id like to get one of those flow top K&N lids.
