Hey everybody! This is a 73 Newport I picked up a little over a year ago. I got it for a song. Its exceptionally straight with a beautiful interior. The plan is for it to be my daughter's car in a year or so.

What does it have for a drivetrain? What is that on the bottom of the passenger front door?

Thanks! It has a 400 with a 727TF trans. The emblem is some trophy the original owner won years ago. Why he mounted it there I have no clue.

Not likely. That car has plenty of power for her. I've already suggested that she take my 77 Olds Delta 88 instead, but she isn't having it. :)
