73 Newport

Hey everybody! This is a 73 Newport I picked up a little over a year ago. I got it for a song. Its exceptionally straight with a beautiful interior. The plan is for it to be my daughter's car in a year or so.

Nice!

What does it have for a drivetrain? What is that on the bottom of the passenger front door?

Thanks! It has a 400 with a 727TF trans. The emblem is some trophy the original owner won years ago. Why he mounted it there I have no clue.

So much for putting a supercharger or nitrous on it I guess.

Not likely. That car has plenty of power for her. I've already suggested that she take my 77 Olds Delta 88 instead, but she isn't having it.

This car may be a bit too large for an inexperienced driver.
