My 85 ShortBed Transformation
I bought this truck 6 years ago & finally brought it home this past November
Below is the pics of it after sitting in the barn for 5 years
Here it is washed after it's 750 mile journey home

After getting it home I found the pickup tube in the gas tank was clogged
out with the old
And in with a RamCharger tank with a larger capacity & pickup tube
Steel braid all the way to the front & Carter EP4070 pump
I lowered it a bit then while I had the bed off
out with the old

Three weeks after this the trans went out in my 65K truck & while under it I realized the 318 was leaking from everywhere so
Out with the old
And in with the new 5.9 Magnum with a 727 behind it

All this was done in a 1 1/2 month period of time 3" custom exhaust custom built suspension & brakes totally replaced etc all in my shop except custom driveshaft
This truck will get my 85 Black/Silver w/red interior LWB home & cruise a while the the real transformation begins beginning with either F3 ProCharged or twin turbo 470-500 low deck & glide With old school Crager Race S/T wheels

I like it, using parts you have is great.
My family likes the fast cars but loves trucks, just bought a '95 3500 8.0L V10, NV4500 two weeks ago and loving it. Always wanted a big one like this for a very long time.
You'll be embarrassing a lot of "fast" cars with that thing.
Does it have a name? Maybe weird but we always name our trucks.
