Our '90 Dakota
My grandson and I spent a few hours today washing and waxing the truck.
So I figured now was as good as time as any to post some pictures. A ways to go but the fun is in the journey :) http://i802.photobucket.com/albums/y...h_100_0738.jpg http://i802.photobucket.com/albums/y...h_100_0737.jpg http://i802.photobucket.com/albums/y...h_100_0739.jpg http://i802.photobucket.com/albums/y...h_100_0740.jpg http://i802.photobucket.com/albums/y...h_100_0741.jpg |

Thank you guys.
I know the Dakota is not that popular, and to be quite honest I am a 'B" body fan [prior to the sloped rear ends] and since I've been hanging around here have started to really like the looks of some of the "A" bodies, the Dart looks like a mini Coronet. But when I had the chance to own a running Mopar especially with a 340/727 and for a whopping 900 bucks I could not pass it up. As of today I have less that $1200 into the truck and she runs pretty good, short of that darn hesitation I can't seem to get rid of. I called and old Mopar buddy up and told him what I had, he said "well that 340 is probably worth some money" "you can't always get what you want, but if you try sometimes you get what you need" :D Joe. |
I'd be willing to bet that the 340/727 is worth more than the $1,200 that you have in to the whole truck though. Someone I'm guess, did not know what they had. Good score for you Joe.
