I just got this car. The wheels are Toooo big for my taste. They are Jesse James "357's" 24"X 10" with rubber band tires. I'm not sure what I'll put on. Any one have pics of what they are running.

Anything would be an improvement on those horrid things. My opinion about wheels:

NO wheel on any classic, and for the most part on most cars, should be "all chrome" and overbearing. Such wheels as the old spoke designs, and the modern 'Stang Bullitt wheels are much more pleasing and UNDERstated with less chrome, and with a contrasting scheme

Second, you MUST have some sidewall. In my opinion nothing larger than a 17 should EVER be on any classic. Even then, l the tires need to be tall enough to have "some sidewall."

Here's an example of what I think looks good, IE larger 17" wheels on a classic. This is "AbodyJoe" over at FABO and these are 'Stang wheels. The point is they are not "overchromed" and "overflashy

Even though all chrome, there's enough sidewall to look good

This is so ugly, it's a crime

Well I certainly agree! They are too much everything. The car is great and someone spent big bucks on these wheels. They will be on craigslist soon. I kinda like the magnum wheels, just not sure on such a land yacht!
