I want to buy a set of tires and rims, I want to use (9.25")235/75/R15 tires but I don't know if I can safely use this size of tire on a 7" rim

I had a similar issue years ago, and I asked the guy mounting my tires the same question. He said, "well, if the bead seats then you're good to go". Of course you should follow the tire manufacturers recommendations, though...

8" rims would be better, but 7"s will work.
