1970 plymouth fury III what bolt pattern does it use? I thought a year ago I found a chart that said 5 bolt 114.3 but i cant find it anymore. and while on the subject what tire/rim sizes should I look into? not looking for anything too radical its got a 318 and is more of a cruiser. I like the magnum rims but I don't see em cheaper than $120ea so if anyone knows a place with good deals.

 

When that Plymouth was born there was no such thing as "whatever 114.3" The bolt circle is known as 4.5" Fits Most Ford and Mopar cars, and some 2x4 Dodge 1/2 ton pickups. Ford Ranger, Jeep Cherokee, and a few others.

Older Dodge Dart and other "A" bodies as well as K cars used the small 4" pattern

 

thanks for that info. quick conversion of mm to inch on google says 114.3mm is 4.5" exactly so it just verified it for me but ill go with the standard when looking for rims I'm sure they didn't use metric back then.

 

Just make sure the center hub hole is large enough. Some 4.5 wheels have a smaller center hole. Ford Chysler and AMC used this pattern and one of them has a much smaller center hole. I just forget which one.

 

Ford has the smaller hole.. Personally I think those are the best wheels out there. Chrysler should have offered them on the new Challanger instead of their aluminum version. Be aware the prices usually do not include the center cap 15 X 8 should fit on that barge. Check at a tire shop they should have a chart or a wheel to try measure for the correct back spacing

 

Mopar always used the term big bolt and small bolt pattern....big was 5 on 4 1/2" bolt circle and small was 5 on 4" bolt circle
