Drag tires for Duster

Here is my dilemma, i dont know what size or where to get those i guess new or not treaded what would be slicks. Here is Hoosiers, there called "Pro Street". http://www.hoosiertire.com/strttire.htm And i check Hoosier and Tire Rack.com and other places and for a 70 or 71 Duster they only have Cuda. And i am not sure how the size works either. Bremereric said i can get rims for the tires so i dont have to change the axle and where can i get them to or the tires to fit the wheel space.

If your tire space is like my Dart then the biggest street/slick will be a P245/60/15 back there without some of that mini-tubbing.

I would suggest taking a wheel off and use a long straight edge on the drum face and measure to the outside then inside, take off 3/4" and use this program to figure wheel offset: http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp

That's a good resource 500...you know what will make you made...I got some 15 X 8 with 4.50" backspacing wheel on the rear of the Aspen with some P275/60/15 tires. I could probably put some P295/60/15 with no problems. It makes me sick when I look at my Dart's puny tires.

Bremereric, where can i get such tires or similar? I check Tire Rack as said above and the North East Hoosier tire distribution may have them.

Look for some Micky Thompson ET street radials. They can be had all over the place. You can also try Nitto Tires.
