Need help with New wheels!
Hello everyone! So i recently purchased some 15x8 5x4 1/2 wheels for my 1970 Duster. I knew my bolt pattern was 5x4 but i got them both + tires for 50$. I then bought wheel adapters off summit for 60$, (So just the back 2). And the Tires on them are 275/60 on 15's of course.
The problem i am having is the scraping on the fender, as you probably guessed by now.
So far i have grinded a little off the edge of the fender, and made some leaf spring extensions, raised it about 2 inches. The car will now only scrape on big bumps/ speed bumps.
I'm trying to figure out if i should just try to re sell them, and go back to my baby 14's in the rear. Or if there is some more i can do at a lost cost to keep them back there, because i really do like them.
Is it possible that if i just lower the tire size i would be in the clear? Let me know, thanks guys!

Okay, i am just going to sell them then haha. Luckily i can get my moneys worth for them because they are bassically mint.
On another note, do you know any good wheels that will fit on a 5x4 bolt pattern? I had trouble finding anything in a decent price range. I don't know if they make 15" wheels on a 5x4? Otherwise some 14"s will work, it's just my college daily driver for not by, not hitting any drag strips until i work and save up some more money

Jayce what did you end up doing?
I recall that Centerline and American Racing (ansens) are the only 2
built in the 4" bolt pattern. Maybe something from YearOne too.
I agree with Mopar Ted switch out the axles and ditch the spacers.
Mikerp76; the flatblack is hardcore, but are those pink walls?

heels are the ansen sprint wheel by American Racing. and yes those are pink side walls in support of Breast cancer awareness. it's more of a grey color now due to oxidation but turns black when wet. she will be painted blue sometime in the future.
