Stained LowGloss Black Wheels

Picked up my HC last week and just noticed this today.

One of the Black LowGloss wheels is stained on a few spokes & inside lug nut pocket.

Tried cleaning with some water & car wash, but didn't help.

After looking very close, It looks like it's etched in the finish.

Anyone else have this?

It's oxidation underneath the paint.....sandblast and repaint is the only remedy.

.... OR going over it with a clay bar! Someone suggested I try it. Here's the before & after. I'm thinking it was some kind of finishing compound from factory. It's also in some of the lug pockets.
