trans-dapt performance 5 lug wheel adapter

I am looking at getting a wheel adapter so I can get a bigger tire on. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/trd-7066/applications
I would like to know if it is reliable.

I don't know man, I've not tried them myself but it looks sketchy. Unless it's a show car (trailer queen) don't do it. Dying probably sucks.

When I bought my A body Duster the guy had these adapters on the car, So he could have 15" wheels on the back and 14" 4.50 bolt circle wheels on it.. From the 4.0 bolt circle... The offsets where way off and the tires rubbed on the fenders and quarter panels because of the thickness of the adapters.. Mine were also a lot better looking then the ones in that Summit picture.. I still have them and the Crager Mags if you want to buy them with chrome lug nuts...Bill

I did a quick Summit search and they have 28 wheels offered in what you want.

Adapters, wouldn't put them on anything, never ever.

Spend the money and have the axles and drums drilled, it is safer! Or keep an eye open for some one that has them for sale.
