1948 dodge fluid drive tranny problem.
a freind of mine took one of those 3 speed fluid drive trannys out and was cleaning it and now it wont shift right. He said that he thinks that flipping it upside down messed it up. Any info would help. Thanks guys.

Perhaps a little more info.
Is the car's idle set properly ? It's more than likely electrical. Has he run a test light between the solenoid and ground ?
