I am converting my 1970 Super Bee from Automatic to 4-speed. Just tonight I installed the clutch/brake pedal assembly & noticed something. The brake pedal rests considerably lower than the clutch pedal. If I bring the clutch pedal all the way up to the bumper stop on the pedal bracket it sits at least a couple of inches higher than the brake pedal. I have power brakes and hooked everything to the brake pedal as it was on the automatic pedal. Only thing I can figure is the manual trans with power brakes may have had a longer brake pedal pushrod. Can anyone enlighten me on this? I would appreciate the help. Thanks

Yeah, we'll see how it goes. You're probably right - I was just going by where the rubber bump stop is on the clutch pedal but maybe once it's all installed they will be at the same height. Thanks for your input. I appreciate it.
