Here is another car set up much like yours.
Since he seems to be worried about low speed acceleration, he may be better off with lower rolling diameter tires. Something like, 225/65R15 or even 215/65. But for freeway cruising and some low speed acceleration, the 235/75 is probably fine.
I like the color of this car and the mid-60's styling was sweet too. The early 70's was nice too, much longer though.

So I have been continuing my research and was going to purchase this distributor as I can't find enough info on the Firecore. A guy at a local parts shop said that the mancini one is made by proform. Im not convinced it is but if you look at the part numbers this seems right. can anyone confirm this? I wouldn't mind saving $40 for the same distributor.....

Thanks.

I see nothing in the Proform instructions regarding adjusting/locking the total mechanical advance with their distributor.
The Mopar distributor has the total mechanical advance adjustment capability.

I have used the Mopar piece with success, and I am biased towards adjustability.

The Mancini one is a Mopar unit. You can probably go to any Chrysler Dealership in Edmonchuck and get one for less than you would pay Mancini ans shipping.
