413 Motorhome Motor
I'm helping a friend try to figure out the information on his 413. It came out of a 71 Winnebago. The only block number we could find was on the top: HT413 9 9. The intake number is 3671276. We didn't take anything apart because the motor is currently outside, and it's raining (it's covered up, don't worry ).
I've spent the last hour and a half looking for information to help us figure things out, but I've had little luck. Were the motorhome blocks not numbered like most any other motor? If anyone knows the torque and compression, or would know of a good way to find it, it would be greatly appreciated.

I would check on this site: http://www.mymopar.com/tools.htm
I see a lot of people recommending this one so I figured I would toss it your way and hope it helps.

I've spent some time there looking. It was one of the first places I came across.
I know very little about Mopar's, so my knowledge on where the markings would be is nonexistant.
I don't know if it makes any difference, but the motorhome was Canadian built...

I am in the process of a MAJOR rebuild and an UPgrade of this motor. This motor is not very "friendly" as far as making it a hi-po motor. Low compression, small-valve heads, very small cam .... etc.
To answer your direct Q's ... the compression is LESS than 7 to 1. The torque is something like 350 ft pounds.
The UPgrades that I plan will boost these numbers substancially ... but my usage will be IN a motorhome that I am going to use for RV travel ...to go to foot-brake bracket racing events.
Any other questions .. let me know. And I am looking for some of these motors ...to use as spares and parts.
