440 Tunnel ram Question
Hi, I have been toying with the idea of building a 440 for the strip with a tunnel ram (because there is one reasonably cheap nearby).
However I dont know a great deal about them, and what combinations of heads, cams etc work best.
So if anyone has had any experience with a similar setup, I would love to hear how it went. Thanks

dont have any tunnel ram experience but what do you want? strictly strip! stock heads, aftermarket heads, stroked? if its all stock but the intake. then what is your ride you want to run it in? weight is a BIG factor on intake and cams

My take on tunnel ram, high riase intakes, etc. is that they make power in the higher RPM range (3500 RPM and up). You can drive it on the street but some aftermarket manufacturors don't recommend it. If its just for the strip, then yeah its a good idea but you will need a cam that will work in the same RPM range and a good set of heads that flow well (a lot of set out there).
