65 Fuel Pump
Newbie here. I think I've got a fuel pump issue with my New Yorker. I don't seem to be getting fuel from the fuel pump up to the carb. The lines are clear, filter has been replaced, new fuel pump etc. It seems as if the "pushrod" isn't priming the fuel pump. Is there any way to fix this? I can't really tell if the pushrod is moving or not and there's no tool to get in that tight space (that I've found). Help??!! Thanks.

one way to tell if the rod is making contac with the fuel pump. is back off the bolt a couple turns and have someone else watch to see if thefuel pump wobbles when the engine is turning over. and if its working but still no fuel. and im asumming there is enough fuel in the tank. you can use a compressor to push fuel thru the tank to the carb.

I just thought taping the sides would keep it from sticking to the sides of the hole and just make it a little easier.
