727 trans oil pump

Hi guys, I'm new to your site, I have a 1969 charger RT, running a blown 440, I have installed a reco'ed 727 built for about 1100 HP, I have installed a new trans oil cooler and want to know if the oil pump feed line is the hose fitting at the front or is it further near the rear of the trans, cheers

If I understand your question, the front fitting goes to the cooler the rear is the return.

thanks guys, the reason I ask is that the trans oil cooler is mounted in front of the radiator and has a fitting top and bottom, I want to flow the oil through the cooler from the bottom to the top, so the oil is pumped from the front fitting on the 727 goes to the bottom hose fitting on the oil cooler then out the top of the oil cooler and back to the rear fitting on the 727. cheers
