8 3/4 trouble

Driver side wheel and hub too hot to touch. Recently replaced bearings with new sealed bearings, told this was a big help over factory. Drove maybe 20 miles and during the drive i started to hear a loud whine, only under acceleration, coming from rear drivers side. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks

Not enough oil ? Parking brake dragging Bearing too tight ? Nothing beats the factory bearings!

Was the right side warm and now that things have cooled down can you turn ether side by hand. Brake drag, brake adjustment is to tight.

Just a suggestion. Did you remove the inner seal from the bearings so oil could lube
the rollers/***** with diff oil? Did the bearing fit snug on the axle or spin in the housing?
Have you a posi, and if so, is there an adjuster on the right axle side to
set the axle free play? If so, and these are Green bearings you need to address this issue
or the inner pin will be wedged between the axle ends creating friction.
What was it like before changing the bearings and why did you change them with
something other than O.E.? Just a few things to ponder.
