I dont know for sure what your brake switch looks like. Some I've seen are snap-in and some mopars have a lock nut used to secure and adjust the distance between the plunger and the brake arm. I'm no mopar expert, but I know electrics. This may also be a reach, and someone correct me if I'm out there, But could a leakey master cylinder cause a brake pedal to sag slightly overnight? Just fishin. But first check to see the switch is tight and adjusted properly. Good luck.

Mounted under the dash, contacting the brake pedal arm between the pad and the upper pivot. http://www.napaonline.com/MasterPage...ion=Stoplight+ Click on the arrow next to connector and select full if it doesnt show the full image

how sensitive is that switch? how far does the pedal travel before the lights go on? if you just have to breathe on the pedal, you might just need an adjustment. are the brakes adjusted properly? the spring in the master is pretty stiff but no telling just how old the master is.
dunno how easy it gos on. it waits till i'm alseep cuz i'm constantly looking out side to when ever i hear a niose to make sure the cars ok, my buddy who is a mechanic said it could be something as simple as a spring that needs to be replaced. so i dunno i'll deal with it tomorrow if i can get some 1 to give me a jump....
