brake question

i was going to put an 8 3/4 rear end in my car it currently has 8 1/4 with 10inch drums all around. i was wondering what i had to do if anything to help it stop since i will have 11 inch drums in the rear and 10 inch drums in the front. I heard that i might need to go with smaller wheel cylinders in the back?

It would be nice if you could put the 11 inchers up front. What car do you have?

70 belvedere. i was planning on putting a front disc brake conversion on it but not right now. i was just seeing if i could just basically bolt up the 8 3/4 in for right now i mean i think i would have to cut the drive shaft
