After i put my brakes back on my dart the other day, i've been getting some serious rattle. I bought a new hardware kit, which consists of the caliper retainer clip, and the "rattle spring", but it still rattles, so i'm not sure I put it on right. Anyone know what the setup is supposed to look like? Its three parts, the retainer, the spring, and a rubber band. Thanks!

 

UPDATE: After 30,000 or so miles, the brakes are rattling like mad. I re tensioned the retaining clips, but to no avail.

It seems that the calipers from C bodies of the era were held in place with the more common style bolt. Anyone know if the caliper brackets interchange? I almost want to switch to that style rather than try to find ways to make these stop rattling. Also, this is assuming that that style caliper rattles less....

Any thoughts?
