Can you identify?

Hi,

My mechanical skills and experience are strictly pre-1950. However, I am currently working on my 1937 Plymouth PT50 hot rod that has a 1976 Mopar 360 engine installed. I need some help identifying these two components to see what I do with them as neither are connected right now.

Thanks

Mike

Mike -

The first is the voltage regulator. Don't know anything about cars that old, but doubt it was original.
Given the looks of it, might want to pick up a new one, they're pretty cheap.
What Bob said about the vacuum solenoid.
