is this clutch or cone type? look at pic

clutch or cone? and are cone type really that bad?

Look down inside the holes, can you see springs that resemble valve springs? That appears to me to be what you are calling the "cone" type

Notice how the end of the housing is bolted on, and is "straight sided", and finished machined, not cast and tapered.
