I have a 98 Sebring Coupe and I switched out my OE center console with a 2g Eclipse console. I recently aquired an OE 1998 Eclipse radio which is necessary to pair up nicely with the Eclipse console. After a thorough installation with all the wires coming from my car and paired up with the Eclipse radio wires, the radio itself does not turn on.

All of my fuses are fine.

My Sebring radio is the Infinity package. It came with a ground wire attachment and the Eclipse radio did not. The power port is the same between the two.

I dont know what to do. I appreciate any help here or redirection to someplace that could help diagnose my problem.

 

Turns out that the dang radio needed to be installed in the radio bracket for it to ground. lmao....thanks for your help man.
