duster popping noise

duster popping noise

i have a 72 duster i just bought with a 318 i have long tube headers edlebrock intake i just got flowmaster 1 chamber exhaust on it and its poping threw the mufflers NOT threw the carb really bad when its warmed up it starts to pop when its idling can anyone help me out here please

As Polaradude says, check your timing. Also, check for vacuum leaks, and exhaust leaks. Sometimes a little fresh air is drawn in through an exhaust leak, where it can help unburned fuel ignite, causing popping.
